Journey so far!
Our founder, Shri Sharad Kumar Shah, believed that spending money meaningfully is as important as making it. He sowed the seeds of enterprise for us to fall back on. What is today a flourishing business began way back in 1948, with selling imported Petter Fielding engines.
The Licence Raj of the 1950s and 60s saw us operating in Government sectors such as Defence and Railways. In the 1970s and 80s, our Company undertook numerous turnkey projects and established a long standing business association with the State Electricity Board. The nineties ushered in economic liberalisation and we moved into the private industrial sector, adopting a sector-specific approach towards customers. Over 60 years, VEMC has endured fluctuating business cycles to emerge as the most reliable brand name in the engineering products and services sector. With a diverse market reach and strong business relationships, we adopt a 360 degree approach in conducting business.
